Environmental Division
Over the past years, the staff of IEC INTERNATIONAL have been called upon to undertake an increasing role in evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on issues related to environmental sustainability, impacts, and remediation. In this regard we have, to date, completed over 60 submissions under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA).

Through our "Strategic Alliance" with International Underwater Surveyors we are able to expand our services to encompass various industry sectors including issues of environmental monitoring and sustainability in the: Aquaculture; Fisheries; Forestry; and, Mining Sectors, as well as Private and/or Municipal Projects (waste, marina, off-shore, etc.).
Equipment available:
* M/V Pacific Surveyor (50 ft research and survey vessel with onboard laboratory facilities) latest positioning and monitoring electronic, tender vessels, lifting, equipment, etc.
* 3 ROV's (Remotely Operated Vehicles- "Seymour", "Sea Wolf" and "Video Ray Pro" equiped with high resolution digital cameras allowing assessment of submarine habitats to depths of 2,000 ft; and,
* a full slate of environmental monitoring equipment (current, sediment, water quality, diving equipment, and underwater cameras, etc.).
Through our expanding base of Strategic Partners, we are now able to contribute to these projects on a national and international basis.

The
reality, today, is that all industry sectors must achieve greater return
from their resources, whether they be wild harvest or farmed product.
In this regard IEC INTERNATIONAL has successfully completed
development of: quality control technology, procedures and criteria for
various fish species; QMP; corporate logo Identity; product
specifications, product labels, recipes, and POS; literature reviews,
manuals, business plans and applications for funding assistance; and,
product marketing. IEC staff are HACCP Certified (NMFS-NOAA).
